Dr. Kenneth Smith is one of the original founders of Hearing Associates, Inc.
With partner, Jane L. Thebo, Ken began the practice in Prairie Village, KS in 1976. Ken holds a Ph.D. from the University of
Kansas and was awarded the first Au.D. credential in the country. Active in many local, state and national audiology
organizations, Ken was named the first midwestern president of the National Academy of Dispensing Audiologists.
As CEO of the company, Dr. Smith is dedicated to creating and approving new services and procedures to provide
all Hearing Associates' patients with "first-class hearing care" in the greater Kansas City area.
Dr. Ken Smith is a frequent speaker at professional meetings locally and across the country. He is currently
teaching basic business skills in an Au.D. program taught nationally over the internet. He is enthusiastic about
his work and his responsibility in changing peoples' lives with the modern technology and services in the field of Audiology. |
